All Things Lavender Town

OKAY! A lot of my people have been asking me about one thing

LAVENDER TOWN

My friends have been dying to know why this was created, so im gonna write about it...
Lavender town is a town in the video game of Pokemon. (I dont really know why this is the thing they wanted me to talk about, but I like the story)
While the other Pokemon games and series TV shows talks about capturing Pokemon and making friends, Lavender Town is all about death and possession. Pretty creepy for a Pokemon game right? Well it gets worse. From research (no copying intended) I have actually learned some made up stories about Lavender  town.
The first story is obviously fake but I think its kinda interesting. A boy was interested in the music played in Lavender Town. He tested the music frequencies and found that this frequency causes irritated skin, nausea, and muscle spasms. This is false because you can always change the frequencies and what music makes your skin itchy? So that's obviously crossed out as NOT TRUE.

The second story is called "Gary's Raticate" for non-pokemon fans, (including me) you need to understand that Pokemon trainers battle each other so their Pokemon will get stronger. So in this story, your character in the game goes up to your rival, Gary, says to you " Hey! Your Pokemon are not dead. So you want to battle?"
This confused alot of people until it finally hit them. Before you arrive in Lavender Town in the game, you battle your rival. In that battle, Gary uses his Raticate. When you win, you dont see your rival until you get to Lavender town. So when you battle your rival in Lavender Town, he doesnt use his Raticate. Many people believe from that evidence that you killed his Raticate while battling him before entering Lavender Town. That adds to the creepiness of Lavender Town. I like this story because it takes evidence from the story
and makes suggestions.

From what I have learned from this video is that the creepiness goes on when a girl comes up to you and actually says "Give..Me..Blood" enjoy this video that kinda summarizes it all. :)

Local MS Drum Corps

MY REVIEW ON RAND0M STUFF

This is my first blog... so don't complain if its stupid as heck.

OKAY! The MAIN thing that I want to do is talk about the local middle school Drum Corps.

I'm experienced in drums so i'm gonna number them down to ONE.

SOOO. starting at #5 is Fischer Middle School Drum Corps

This is probably the smallest drum corps I've
ever seen. This school is in a district that specializes in musical arts... and you can pretty much hear it in this video. You can clearly hear the talent, but i should give you a few pointers

  • Pull up the snares... you can adjust the strap...
  • STOP CRUMPING IN THE BACKGROUND BASS DRUMMERS... keep it light... don't dance that weird on the stage.
  • And finally... GET MORE DRUMMERS.

Coming at #4... Is McKinley Williams MS

Well... I know you cant hear the drums that well, but I was actually there that day trying to write stuff down about the DC... and they have some very good things about them...
FOR EX.
They have a lot of drummers.. even though size doesn't matter.
And they have the form "ABACABA" down.
ABACABA is a drumming form that is pretty easy in my opinion.
A tip:

  • ABACABA tends to get a little boring so dont always use it.

At #3 is Kate Middleton Elementary

Okay... I had no idea that this was an elementary school til I read the subtitles. The elementary school is the ones with the yellow shirts. I know this subject is on MIDDLE school drum corps, but they were pretty good.

Going against them in this video making the #2 spot is Livaudais Middle School.

These guys in the white shirts are really good. They show real good potential to be in an actually drum corp. Me myself preforming in skilled drum classes gives me enough power to say that you are REALLY GOOD.

And the most talented drum corp out of all five coming in at #1 is Joseph George Middle School Drum Corps (The Green Machine)

THESE GUYS ARE AMAZING! They sure know how to play drums... I was blown away by how disciplined they are. They even have uniforms! Its also crazy how they call themselves the
"Green Machine" They deserve that name...
They are very well organized and are in perfect sync.
These kids deserve a better playing environment.
Even if they already have a good music room. I went to there school to see the drum corp in person. And the crazy part is that all there music including their symphonic band, choir, even beginning band were amazing! Around 2013, their going to preform at city hall... Keep it up Green Machine! You are Legends to me!

(give a special thanks to retired music teacher Mr. Eugene Smith for his amazing efforts to make JG middle school's music a success.)
